He comes off as very neocon and Israel first and I fear he gets us into another unwinnable conflict in the Middle East where we will be shedding American blood in the name of Israel.

Are you just basing this off the fact that he's Jewish or do you have something more to support your theory?

Look at the relationships him and his family have in Israel.

Tell us about them. Other than doing business there, what are these "relations". How have they compromised him? What evidence do you have that its effecting policy decisions?

You were told at the meeting to keep your mouth shut and not to tell the minorities anything.

He's dealing with Britain is troubling. But as the saying goes, keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.

When politicians are suspected of having conflicts of interest, they are often said to be "in bed" with other individuals or institutions. In the case of the Trump administration and Israel, it's hardly a metaphor — the Israeli prime minister actually has slept in the childhood bedroom of the man appointed to oversee U.S. policy on Israel-Palestine.
Donald Trump has installed his 36-year-old son-in-law Jared Kushner, a wealthy real estate heir, as a leading adviser on Middle East policy. The president promised his son-in-law will "do peace" in the region.
Where exactly Kushner's political sympathies lie could hardly be any clearer. His family has long donated to pro-Israel groups, and a new report in the New York Times, euphemistically titled "For Kushner, Israel Policy May Be Shaped by the Personal," casually mentioned hard-line right-wing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu once even stayed in his home.
quote:
The ties go deeper still. Kushner directed a family foundation that gave money to illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which were constructed in flagrant violation of international law and the Fourth Geneva Convention. President Trump himself previously donated $10,000 to the illegal Israeli settlement Beit El.

If you think that's improper, how do you feel about the hundreds of millions Clinton foundation took from corporate and foreign interests?

Lots of Israel Firsters in here....

Absolutely. When your foundation is weak it shifts. God doesn't change, neither will my support for Israel.

So you're mad he is going to stop funding and arming terrorists?
Posted on 4/5/17 at 8:41 am to Big12fan
Illegal settlements, but by what measure? I'm pretty sure many sources consider all of them illegal. But the Israeli government doesn't. International law is a fiction, and doesn't mean effectively anything. If he was following the law of the country he was in, whats the problem?
Also, still waiting to hear on how this has compromised him. Or any actual evidence of corruption. "Ties"/previous business in other countries as an implication of corruption is getting really old.
