I am trying to figure out why I should care about his tax returns, and I can't figure it out.

Why does anyone care? How will it affect this country?

Does anyone remember Obama's?

Maybe I am missing something here

I'd much rather see Hillary's deleted emails than his tax returns

any dealing by a US citizen with the Revolutionary Guard is a crime.

Assuming that an article from a tabloid is true, do you think his tax return will show this?

Transparency in the face of his tax reform policy and eventual bills. It's not uncommon for anyone to want to know how legislation stands to benefit his or his family's bottom line. If you don't care, though, not a big deal. Some do care, however.

to be fair that's a a sample year.

I can show a year where I claimed a loss of income and a year I was almost an OT baller.

To be honest, I don't really care. I just think it's odd that he is the first to so actively avoid this.

So you are saying it is because people think he may influence policies that would benefit him?

But why him? Where were the questions about the previous presidents?

Why should Trump be held to lower transparency standards than other Presidents? 40 years of precedent means something.

I don't know why this President persist on being so divisive.

He could easily gain some good will, but he likes the drama.

What standard? There is nothing that says the president should reveal his returns. Anything he does will be played as terrible in the media. I wouldnt take the chance.

What legislation re: tax reform did Obama, Bush 1 and 2, Clinton, and Reagan sign that benefitted their businesses? I don't think you're understanding what tax reform legislation is.

FIFY

Not sure why Trump should show his tax returns because you are suspicious.

It clearly pisses him off people are still asking for them. I think that is part of the agenda at this point
