I just tried using duck duck go to search for a tax issue in India and the results were subpar vs what google provided, so no thanks.

I already do use duckduckgo, I only have a gmail account so I can use the play store but I don't use for email. I can't switch to an iphone cause I hate apple too.

The problem is Google and Facebook are so much a part of daily life that they will continue to flourish even though they are progressive utopias with the end goal of pushing America into a new age of progressivism.
It took someone like Trump to overcome the machine in 2016. You won't always have that type of candidate to overcome the straight propaganda from these type of sites.

Sadly I hate your position on most things, but he is right. What is sad is android is the superior product to Apple. If you own an iPhone it saves all your info for Apple. Both companies are bad

I switched to DuckDuckGo last year... I'll be honest, it's pretty bad compared to Google, but I still try to use it as much as I can.
The bigger problem is phones. If you want a smartphone there is pretty much Apple and Google, those two have a monopoly on the market in terms of smartphone platforms and they are both evil companies.
