How pathetic is all this recount talk?

Hillary would have to flip 3 states worth 37 total electoral votes to change the outcome. Delusional doesn't even begin to describe it.
Remember when Kerry lost by just Ohio in 2004? The Dems talked about it for like 2 days and then moved on. And here we are, almost a month after the election, still hearing that Dems are contesting 3 states.
Just shows you how unhinged the left has become in the last 12 years.

They're trying to make those electoral votes not count by stalling past the cut off date. They're basically trying to steal the election.

I seriously don't think the true intention behind the recount push is to actually overturn the results. The people may say really stupid shite, but they're not so stupid that they actually think they are going to overturn 10K+ margins. It's all due to the hope that they can find any kind of minuscule "fraud" and then proudly say how the whole damn thing was rigged. Also, some have hypothesized that it is simply to deny Trump from getting to 270 by tying these states EC votes up, then giving the decision to the House in hopes that they will select a different republican or at the minimum be able to call Trump an "illegitimate" president.

The threshold to win wouldn't be 270 at that point, but 251 (and Trump would still win 269-232).

I was told by Dems that not accepting the results of the election threatens democracy.

My understanding is you have to get to 270 or you don't win via the normal process, even if you do have a majority of the EC votes left after some states are left out. It would go to the House.
