Because of the nature of their party, they have to accept every subset of depraved and perverted individual imaginable. This lends itself to having to excuse and coverup many more deviants. And when exposed, it leaves them rife for hypocrisy.

"Endure" is a misnomer. To assume that the Left suffers embarrassment or shame is just wrong; they suffer the loss of Ideological hegemony, and that hurts. It's like wondering how many more 'Otto Warmbiers' could Kim Jung Un endure. Just the cost of doing business.
