Fapping over confiscating income how noble.

Laugh all you want but the top ten percent will easily sell out and screw over those of you who think you share the same value and goals of them.

The top 1 percent will be even more eager to cut a deal. They would love to pay a little more in taxes if that means they can maintain what they have.

You refer to the "top 10%" as if this is some static group.

This shows your ignorance.

You must be their official self-assigned spokesperson?

You have no idea what you are talking about. The estate tax exemption is either staying constant or increasing annually. If anything...you are getting further away from what you claim is coming.

The top 1 and top 10 percent have behaved similarly in the West when confronted with the choice between higher taxes and social order and protection of what they have versus violence, protests, and uncertainty.

They will soon realize that it is cheaper for them and better for their self-preservation as a class.

The executives at BK won't suffer if their income tax rates were around 39% or so.

My federal effective tax rate was 39.5% last year. Not marginal, but effective tax rate. It may be more this year. You talk as if nobody pays 38% in taxes. Believe me, there are more than you think who pay that and even more because of AMT.

Again...are you under the impression they won't be paying taxes on income derived in the us? I guess that would explain your posts.

Of course it is.

And, if your nation has such shitty policies that Canada is viewed as more corporate friendly, your nation has frickED UP policies.

Only a perpetually jealous person such as yourself would blame the victim of said policies for choosing to escape them.

You'd have fit in well in the USSR or East Germany. Maybe we should simply FORCE people to remain in our country like those places had to when their policies became so shitty, people would rather leave.

I'll bet you'd happily guard the wall.

Inversions are complicated and I have yet to meet a liberal who understands it.

And yes our system let it happen because our corporate tax system is screwed up. We literally have one of the worst corp tax systems around. It encourages things like inversions.

Switching to a territorial corp tax like most of the rest of the world has would solve s lot of issues

if that means they can maintain what they have.

The problem is y'all want to take what they have by any means possible just so you can have it instead.

The corporation is just doing what they can to pay less taxes, just like I do and you do when we file our returns every year.

It's pretty sad when a company goes to Canada to pay lower taxes. Says a lot for our business climate.
