Good point, there is strength in numbers and as long as both Republican candidates run against Edwards and big spending and high taxes then they will be fine.
They don’t need to attack each other, and they won’t. Neither is the enemy.
And Edwards can’t attack unless he attacks both. He has to dust off his old play book, tie them to Jindal, and hope that works again.
He has little else but big money behind him.

He could say, for example, if he gets elected he will attack the swamp and in his first act he will remove the remains of Huey Long from the Capitol grounds.
He would get a lot of press from something like that while pointing out JBE’s love for Long and heritage as a fourth generation Louisiana politician.

Two months is plenty of time?
Rispone should have been running these “hurr durr, I hunt and like the outdoors, business, and Trump” pandering spots 6 months ago.
If Louisiana had a conventional primary system, Abraham would win the nomination by 20-30 points purely because no one has any clue who Rispone is, and he waited until this late to introduce himself.

Pandering in the greatest sense. He didn’t talk about anything a governor actually has control over. Tell me your plan for infrastructure, taxes, education, crime. If anything it makes me feel like he’s not qualified because he doesn’t know the issues he’d actually have to deal with and is just saying ‘rah rah Trump.’

Umm, Jindal ran the state unfettered for about 7.5 years with most of the same/current legislators who are there now carrying the water for him. 4 years of Blanco and 8 years of Foster. There are plenty of Rs and Ds to spread blame to.

Yea as much as I like Trump this guy just seems to be missing it. I don't know we haven't really seen speeches and full on campaigning yet but I can't see how Eddie Rispone competes statewide

It's kinda cringey but at least ive seen the ad. I can say 100% that I have NOT seen a commercial by any other Republican candidate.
