Heard an interesting stat on tv news last night. Discussion was about the power of the Hispanic vote down the road. The guy doing the piece said that in the year 2030 that Hispanics would make up 15% of the voting populace. Damn!

The most surprising stat - people over the age of 65 will make up 30% of the population. Double damn! The discussion was about the Dems gaining voters and the Reps loosing voters. As mentioned in the interview, over 65ers tend to vote Republican.

Once Hispanics get to America and become citizens they will not be all Democrats!

1. They are mostly Catholic which tend to have values different than liberals.
2. They actually want to work and when they start paying taxes they will think differently of the liberal agenda.
3. They are family oriented and self reliant for the most part again which goes against big government.

Very true. Went to a big dove hunt in south Texas and I'd say about 5-10% of people there WEREN'T Hispanic.

I think someone suggested putting sharks in the Rio! They HATE illegal immigration/immigrants.
