Cliffs seem to be that the Democrats are willing to risk another Cold War if not a nuclear exchange with Russia in order to overthrow Trump at best and at worse to cover up their shiteshow of a loss. All the while their has been zero hard evidence provided that Russia hacked a gotdamn thing.

Glenn Greenwald is trustworthy. Not fake news.

Constantly ratcheting up aggressive rhetoric and tension between Washington and Moscow is not a game. And yet it’s one that establishment Democrats — and their new allies in the war-loving wing of the GOP — are playing with reckless abandon, and with little to no apparent concern about the risks. They have re-created a climate in the U.S. where a desire for better relations with Russia triggers suspicions about one’s loyalties.
This is exactly how I feel about this situation. We have elected officials on both sides of the aisle playing a very public and very dangerous game and yet we have posters here too blinded by hate to realize the real consequences of this game

This article is as close to the truth as anything I have read..it is concise and written in English. HRC was itching to get a piece of Putin and would add this....his government had so much on her it was beyond palatable and this knowledge is still a real and present danger for the Left. When DJT defeated HRC the air released from OUR sabre rattling diminished.
I don't believe the Cold War ever truly ceased and this high stakes gambit by HRC, in anticipation of being the next POTUS, was a golf ball on a tee awaiting consumption by the masses. Problem is she lost and what we see today is the only way the Dems can keep what Russia has contained.
Far fetched, doubt it and if so...whatcha got!!!!

4. The U.S. government still has provided no evidence of its theories about Russian hacking.
That Putin ordered Russian hacking of the DNC’s and John Podesta’s emails in order to help Trump win is now such consecrated orthodoxy that it’s barely acceptable in Decent Company to question it. But that obscures, by design, the rather important fact that the U.S. government, while repeatedly issuing new reports making these claims, has still never offered any actual evidence for them.
This needs to be posted in all "Russia" threads until the moment that the U.S. government does provide this evidence. Who knows if they ever will?

Why does anybody want war with Russia? I mean that would destroy the world. I can see why the military complex wants war in the Middle East on a small scale

Thats the billion dollar question isn't it? The Obama foreign policy created vacuums all over the world where we sought to diminish our leadership roles. The Chinese and the Russians moved in to fill these vacuums. What is caused was widespread reshaping of alliances because countries that we had long supported got the impression that they might not be able to count on the United States. Why do you think Trump made it a point the other night to emphatically state to traditional allies that we had their back? The strategy to counter Russia's new found influence is to turn them back into the Cold War era enemy.

This whole Russian thing is starting to sound like a cover story to protect the Obama Administration/ Clinton from some major screw up that happened a while back....probably with Ukraine.
