HBO urges patience.

Of course, Twitterverse is upset at an alternate universe show about the South, which is really hypocritical, since Dems have been lying about Civil Rights for decades.

quote:

“Because there are already people in reality romanticizing the Confederacy,” one person wrote. “Now they'll have a reason to cosplay.”

SJW's now have their panties all bunched up about cosplay.

Are you kidding? They cosplay every year. It's called Civil War battle reenactments.

Wasn't there a show a few years ago that depicted Europe after the Nazi's won the war? I distinctly remember it being advertised but I never watched it and don't know what came of it. In any case, I don't remember the same sort of outcry about that show.

A lot of Germans don’t like idea from man in high castle.

Do you now see how their responses relate?

This show will likely support the cause of those upset about it. Liberals have completely lost it.

Slavery would never have been illegal still. So stupid.

This is just liberals wanting to have a fun tool to call whites evil, and racists as much as possible.

The point of the show is to show how close the opponents of the left are to taht.

The show will predictably portray all Southerners as backwards, racist monsters except for a few liberal whites trying to change things for the better.

Book it.

Bingo. The show will be one of the most hard core pro-SJW shows on TV.

Exactly. There is no way that Hollywood would put out a show that portrays white Southerners in a positive light.

There has been quite a few alternate history novels and shows.

Fatherland by Robert Harris set in a world where Germany won WWII and Hitler is still in power over all of Europe in 1964.

It was a best-seller in the UK.

And guess who made the TV film of the book?

I assume you meant legal.

If so, I agree.

John Deere would have put slavery out of business.

Brilliant. All we need is more Hollywood to shape the brain of our societal breakdown.

Just by showing slavery as still legal they show they have no clue. Show wouldn't even come close to giving an accurate description. Would likely also show the south as poor, and dependent on the north in some way.
