Have we discussed Daily Stormer and Stormfront getting banned from the internet?

Sure neo Nazis aren't very sympathettic characters, but this is an absolutely terrible precedent. Daily Stormer had site traffic comparable to a site like Breitbart. If they can do it to them, they can do it to anyone. Look at the SPLC labelling Christian groups as hate groups. If DS and Stormfront can be deplatformed for "hate speech," there is absolutely nothing stopping them from doing it to any other conservative/right wing group.

I am not defending neo nazis, but this is a terrible precedent and the near total silence from the MSM and all the shrill "net neutrality" advocates is deafening.

They were removed for advocating violence. There's a difference between that and hate speech.

Tell me how DS was taken down, then tell me what you understand about net neutrality.

Why don't you tell me how DS going down has absolutely nothing to do with net neutrality.

Net neutrality laws would make it illegal for isps to treat websites different from one another.

Now answer my questions.

I get that you're setting up a sweet gotcha about how DS and Stormfront getting deplatformed has nothing to do with the principle of net neutrality so just lay it on me baw

That's right, but in reality it's a distinction without a difference

The left is busy redefining any speech they don't agree with as violence.

Have you missed that?

A distinction showing net neutrality had nothing to do with it, if anything net neutrality would have prevented it.

You're just exposing yourself as an ignorant fool (again).

If that is true (it ain't) it's a horrible idea. How is the state going to force a private company to trade with a hate group? There is no difference in what internet hosts have done and a baker refusing to bake a cake for a gay wedding. Neither should be compelled to trade with people they disagree with.

Net neutrality would make it illegal for att to throttle Netflix or whomever. Internet service should be treated as a utility in this country.

You can't withhold water and sewer from a hate group and you shouldn't be able to withhold internet.

We would have to make internet a utility. I agree NN likely can't stop people from violating the spirit of the law, but his wording insinuated he somehow blamed it.
