response to gold star families? And if they have, how did they miss the diss Obama gave to Gen. Kelly? I was watching the press conference Monday when the press asked Trump about it--->I thought this couldn't be reality. Is that really important? I understand Trumps answer in comparing to other presidents b/c the press, well, they hold Trump to a much higher (i.e. unrealistic) standard.

Regarding Gen. Kelly's evisceration today of the MSM & the dumbass congresswoman's remarks, it was awesome. His very last remarks about what the soldiers give up for this country...well that really drives home the importance of these spoiled-rich NFL players to stand during the national anthem

To General Kelly:

We still don't know Obamas timeline during the Benghazi attack. The press showed no interest in the topic

He was with Reggie Love. Michael was probably with them too.

No one asked Trump either.

No, but we do know that he welched on an offer to start a charity for a fallen soldier. He was finally shamed into going through with it. Of course the sum of money he donated was undisclosed.

This is becoming clearer every day. Seriously, as an independent, I detest imbalance. What can be done about the media? It's seriously bad.

Yes, they did. Wanted to hear about it on Monday b/c apparently it wasn't 'quick enough' or they wanted to prove something.

Again, this is likely untrue. Who can trust the media anymore? I watched every press conference during campaign season & the media tried to spin that Trump didn't give donations to veterans groups. All of that was extremely time sensitive & was a complete LIE! Can't even trust the damn news to report a simple story!!! It's ridiculous!

I think the question that started it all was related to why he didn't address it for 2 weeks, not necessarily why he didn't contact the families for 2 weeks.

What diss did he give General Kelly? Trump even admitted that previous presidents often wrote letters, and the only thing he referenced was a phone call, but we have no idea if they corresponded in person or not, or through a letter or what.

all of a sudden liberals don't like Investigations. Y'all are gonna hate how this muh Russia stuff turns out. Don't worry though. You can always go back to whining about trump giving money away too slowly.

That's my point. Why are they asking about that? Does it matter more if it's 2 days? 2 weeks? 2 months? Who sets these arbitrary timelines? Do we not give time for an investigation? Why always, ALWAYS spin it towards a negative, bad light situation?

A diss in the sense that the media is making it out to be. See the last sentence in above response. Wouldn't be a negative if the media didn't portray it that way, I'm using their standards.

DJT: I disavow the KKK and every other hate group
MSM: but do you disavow the KKK????

It wasn't an arbitrary timeline; they were asking why it was an unusually longer timeline to even make a basic statement about it. And the administration had an immediate draft of it that as never released. He could have had a good reason, but he instead focused on something else rather than answering the basic question.

It wasn't a question about the investigation.

It became a negative story when he decided to make it personal and focus on something other than the question and use it to make his predecessors look worse than him. He could have just answered the actual question instead of going off on a tangential comparison to his predecessors.

This /\

I cringed when I heard him open up that barrel of snakes. There was absolutely not reason for it - it was a gratuitous dig that had no relevance to the topic at hand. I just don't understand why he insists on shooting himself between the tits every chance he gets.

He doesn't have to manufacture kerfuffles with the MSM - they are definitely out to get him and they are unscrupulous in their efforts. Just respond to their initiated hit pieces - don't go out of your way to bait them into another one.

It was this phase of his persona that made me a fierce opponent of him during the primaries. I cannot stand it.

Only saving grace = he is infinitely better than HRC or Obama

Jesus H. Christ CB, we get it. You do not have to reference this in basically all your posts with the name Trump in it. Give it a rest.
