Just carrying this thought on to its logical conclusion, this is a part of the gay lifestyle that doesn't get talked about. I would guess most people here didn't really have any idea about the practice of older gay men grooming young gay boys. Gay rights activists have long fought to move being gay from what was once seen as some sort of deviant behavior to normal and something that shouldn't be looked upon in a negative light. That's really hard to do if you are openly promoting these types of relationships. Look at the reaction here and many other places. People are openly disgusted and there is backlash from both sides. So if you carry your argument out to the end, it's not hard to see people drawing the conclusion that somehow being gay is a deviant behavior if indeed these types of relationships are commonplace. I think that is the problem for the gay community and I think that is why Milo danced around the subject. He knew the backlash it would cause, and in fact did cause.

They don't care about that. They just care that he said something that they can spin against him. Doesn't matter if what they are saying has any truth to it. They'll just continue to say "defending a pedophile" until enough people forget what actually happened.
