Harbaugh doesn't know jack shite.

Protest and other people have a right to react to it and make you pay for it

Leftist twits have somehow dreamed up the stupid idea that their protests are sacrosanct and no one has a right to utter a single disparaging word about them.

Here's a complicated concept that will probably fly over your head - people have the right to protest the protesters.

A person in authority telling them to stop isn't a great way to make them stop.

Also, it's shitty.

Well, somebody tell that brainless football Coach, obviously pandering to future recruits, that the NFL does not allow messages of any kind on uniforms, socks, eyeblack, armbands, flags, banners...basically anywhere a player could possibly write one, and will fine and/or discipline those who try.....so why is this "message" and different, Jim? The Constitution has nothing to do with this....this is a private entity (NFL) with rules not being enforced across the board, for very obvious political reasons....

He is protesting.

He merely has a bigger platform to do it.

Now he also gives the gutless wonders in his own party another excuse to expose themselves.

No, he really doesn't if he thinks an employer can't control what's said or done on company time or property.

Well is Trump doing that by calling them out and mocking them for the content of that free speech?

The American President has the same free speech rights as every American does.

All in all, I think the elites in this country have all collectively lost their minds. And meanwhile us drones just go about our business. Sad state of affairs.

Trump said nothing about the government stopping them from doing anything.

He merely is exercising his right to protest.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you, that leftists want to silence him.

appalling isn't it?

Trump making it easier for Harbaugh to recruit talent. Good for JH for capitalizing.

Wait until an SEC coach says something defending his players or criticizing Trump. The melt on here will be glorious.

They are employed to represent the team they play for. If the players fail to live up to the contract they get fined or some do not get paid.

At the end of the day they can be fired or disciplined if the team or NFL feels it is justified.

As far as the NFL it just gone down the tubes to the point it is not fun to watch anymore.

So, if I wear an a Rebel Flag tattoo on my arm as matter of free speech...my Coach/employer should not fire me?

If they keep pushing, it's just a matter of time before half the fans in the stadium get up and walk out. Or just don't show up in the first place.
