Hala and Kosher killing of meat

It seems like this is a huge sleeping issue that should be getting far more attention, but mostly is dormant because of "cultural sensitivities".
As Moslems become larger and larger portions of our civilisations, Halal is often becoming the default standard of butchering animals (because Christians and Agnostics don't typically care).
Yet Halal is barbaric and cruel. I'm admittedly a novice on this subject but am wondering if someone else with more knowledge could enlighten us?

I've heard that the process of getting something classified as kosher is a massively corrupt process and that the kosher standards are essentially never enforced or audited. It's all about paying off the right folks.

Here's a post from a Moslem saying that Wendy's in Eastern Canada is all Halal regarding their beef.

I don't care if they do it in Muslim countries.
I'd like them to GTFO of Western countries. let them continue to wallow in the hell and misery that Islam creates everywhere it dominates. If that doesn't make people re-think the ideology, then they deserve it.

How will people who worry if the chicken I ate for dinner led a happy, peaceful life before he was humanely killed react to Halal killing of meat (or is it the halal killing of meat)?

We paid the extortion fee to some rabbi to come and certify our bakery as kosher. Total scam.

Why? The cow is about to lose his head one way or another. Meat processing and slaughter houses are not petty things to watch. So stunning the cow is better before putting a slug in it's brain.
I really don't care how the steak gets to my table....I want the steak....Big NY Strip medium rare with sauteed mushrooms on the side. Slice the cow's throat.....stun it ten put a bulletin the brain ....I don't care...I have had both and to be honest the bleed out one tastes a little better
