One of my main issues with President Trump is Trumpcare. Trumpcare is big pile of shite trying to replace a smaller pile of shite that actually saves people's lives. This guy gets it and, regardless of your political affiliation should feel compassionate and understand where this guy is coming from.

Trumpcare

The guy begins talking at 7:45 but begins to get into the meat of the issues at around 10:30. He goes on for a while. Interesting watch to say the least.

"You came after my wife.... you came after my kids.... "

What a f*cking drama queen. And what about everyone else who can't afford the skyrocketing premiums? Those who have to spend thousands of dollars before they reach their deductible? You know, the overwhelming majority of people who actually have to pay for healthcare.

Where is the evidence that obamacare has saved lives? Age-adjusted death rates in the U.S. have consistently declined for decades, but in 2015 — unlike in 19 of the previous 20 years — they increased. For the first time since 1993, life expectancy fell. Had mortality continued to decline during ACA implementation in 2014 and 2015 at the same rate as during the 2000–13 period, 80,000 fewer Americans would have died in 2015 alone.

The vast majority of increase in insurance coverage through the ACA is through medicaid expansion, and Mortality in 2015 rose more than 50 percent faster in the 26 states (and Washington, D.C.) that expanded Medicaid during 2014 than in the 24 states that did not.

Obamacare was shite.

Trumpcare is shite.

The only difference Obamacare solved one of many issues dealing with Pre-existing conditions.

Neither is the answer but Trumpcare certainly back tracks.

Premiums are going to be high as shite under Trumpcare and we have yet to see if it eases anyone's pockets. Trumpcare puts alot into the hands of the large FOR PROFIT corporations in the health insurance industry.

I think its pretty fricked up that of all things in the United STATES that our health and well being and whether or not we can get covered over something that could mean life or death is literally fricked up and immoral.

Nice rehearsed speech by a guy who may or may not even be a constituent.

I wonder who over at DNC headquarters wrote it.

Profits make up 0.5% of total health costs.
