Incestuous.

quote:

The network announced in a press release that Valerie Jarrett's daughter Laura would be one of four reporters to cover the Justice Department in 2017. The New York Post broke the news that Jarrett had been hired in September, though a formal announcement about her beat did not come until Thursday.

Jarrett has long wanted to work in television news, though being an objective reporter was not her original goal. She told Vanity Fair in a 2009 "Bright Young Things" profile that her chief ambition was to "work as a TV-news legal analyst." Her favorite cause was "promoting civil rights and social equality for women and minorities."

Jarrett worked as a private practice attorney prior to joining the news network, according to her CNN bio page. She has some experience with her beat, having defended "companies and individuals in government investigations brought by the Justice Department," as well as other government agencies. She does not, however, appear to have any journalism experience.

So she used her connections to land a great job. Isn't that what America's all about?

Yes. Filling news staffs with political lackeys to engage in yellow journalism and lie to the people is the American dream.

Why do we care who it is?

If you think that CNN is fake news it could be HRC.

Continue getting your news from Rush and Hannity and everything will be fine.

Anyone can be a journalist today.

All you have to do is make up BS to go with whatever the Proggy narrative of the day is and BAM! Journalist!

How hard can it be? You wake up every morning and mimic what the other news stations were told to say by the Progressive party.

Ironic isn't it that the media is all about vetting presidential appointments in order to be deemed "experienced" for the job by an entity that doesn't require the same scrutiny being used to vet someone who will be reporting that scrutiny?
