Bloomberg

Even for all their shortcomings, I really didn't think Google would fire this guy this soon. They are blatantly confirming that their culture of silencing dissenters exists, fully validating the fired engineer's original criticisms.

That's a really bad look, even for Google.

I honestly thought it was 25% they open a dialogue and pseudo reward him, 50% nothing happens, and 25% they fire him.

I'm sure he'll find work and I'd bet this will wind up being a positive for him.

Hopefully he's from AZ and can primary the frick out of Jeff Flake

I predict lots of outrage on here over this

Meanwhile y'all cheer the fact that Colin Kaepernick isn't on an NFL roster.

Private company.

They can fire him for any reason.

We can stop using Google.

If he was good at football he would be.

Was this guy fired for being a bad engineer?

Don't be a child.

If CK was a good quarterback that could get numbers, he'd be on a roster.

He was just a fad QB in the RG3, Wilson, CK thing that fell apart because running quarterbacks don't run long in the NFL. Only Wilson survived that weird era.

Being as a-hole didn't help.

Your opinion. And how much was he asking for relative to these other backups he would be competing with?
