Just heard now on hannity radio.

Gingrich said he talks to all the republican leadership all the time. Said they are very nice to him. Also said they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. They have no plan, no strategy, no guideline of how they are going to accomplish what they claim they want to do.

Said he offers them advice, urges them to get a plan to pass tax cuts then continue to build. Said its like nothing registers and they are just kind of walking around oblivious to the danger that is approaching them. Complete lack of leadership. No chance of tax reform or any kind of big crucial legislation with the way they are conducting themselves right now.

He was very calm and deliberate when talking about it. Said there's an opportunity to do great things. Also said unless they become better at planning and executing a plan then we're going to see Speaker Pelosi again.

Drew upon his time working with Reagan in the 1980s, his successes in the 1990s, and his hard learned lessons in the 1990s too. Very informative.

Weak, spineless establishment Republicans who are terrified of the media.

The media game is rigged, they're going to demonize you no matter what you do. Ignore them.

Gooooood. Now if only Newt would name names and we can blow up the phones on these bastards. I really couldn't care less about statues and imaginary Russians snooping around an old lush's email, I do, however, care about my wallet.

I'm beginning to doubt the Republican Party's usefulness for all future political purposes, other than to serve as a foil for the Left.

IMHO, the USA is headed Hard Left. I'm not going to cry and pout over something that I see as the inevitable consequence of the progress of US history. I don't see it happening for another 100 years, but, the foundation is definitely in place.

The Left is willing to fight for their agenda. The GOP is willing to go along with it quiet and defeated.

Would be great if they had a bill from the President that they could pass.

There is definitely a leadership void in the White House and on Capital Hill.

Reagan sent HIS tax cut to Congress and had Kemp and the entire White House working Congress THEN he went to the people and lite a fire under Congress and it passed.

Trump is absolutely clueless how to organize such a thing and now has lost the ability to get people behind anything he proposes.

Trumpkins here do not understand how bad he has screwed up in regards to actually getting big things done.

I don't doubt Turtle McConnell and Paul Ryan are gutless pussies, but this is when it would be nice to have a strong policy wonk president to browbeat some frickers in the Oval Office to get something done.

The problem is Trump has not shown the ability or willingness to get down into the nitty gritty nuance of policy enough to get the stakeholders in a room and cobble together a deal.

To his credit, he pretty much broadcasted the same thing with his "hire he best people and let them work" stuff, but that sadly doesn't look like it's going to get much done on the legislative side. We're already 0 for 2 on Obamacare repeal.

I don't GAF what anybody says. I remember their beer drinking and excitement to be the majority when Trump won. They have been blackmailed, and or given orders to stand the frick down and do nothing because if Trump is there for 8 years their agenda will fail. There are demons seething in the background.

They want the beast and the FISA court and America and all her statues torn down.

We got out the hot tub and they threw us back in

It is quite depressing...

I might agree that Trump has not followed the normal procedure and has screwed up . But what is stopping the Republicans from crafting their own bill and working it? If it reforms the tax code, you/they know damn well that Trump would sign it. Answer that?

By the way on Reagan, Kemp was a member of Congress as well Roth who got the ball rolling.
