Are people serious with this stuff? Man o man...25yr old freeze dried lasagna sounds awesome! Saw one for a fall out shelter, and investing in gold falls along the same lines.

Fools and their money.

OK, clown..I have a question...Why are so many millionaires and billionaires buying underground estates that are prepared to spend months or more in the mountains of Colorado? Just the facts!

Link from a non-fringe media outlet on "so many" who are doing this?

Because Fox's audience wants this kind of stuff and those kinds of advertisers find a market in Fox News viewers.

That is why that garbage gets advertised there. Because it sells there and the people who watch Fox News buy that stuff from those commercials.

It is simple. Why even ask the question?

If you are so lazy to do a little research, you'll be perfectly happy in your very very little ignorant box...stay there at your own peril...just a little tough love that your parents never gave you a dose of...lol

Think about this. If something happens and power goes out for any extended time, people die without water in 3 days and food in 3 weeks. Stuck in your house, how long would you last?

In densly populated areas crime for survival will be almost instant.

Now consider who runs the grid and and everything that could cause it to go down.

It's not far fetched to think it's a good idea to be able to survive a few months on your own instead of being dependant on the gov.

I tell you what I would do Bob. I would immediately drive to the nearest Federal Government agency and await my instructions and rations.

There's a difference between emergency preparedness and hunkering down for the apocalypse. The worst are the gold and silver commercials. No matter what's happening with the price, it's a buy signal. Market peak? Buy more. Lost half its value in 6 months? Buy more.

They target the fearful and gullible.

My experience is the opposite. Most peppers can't wait for the apocalypse. They eat that stuff up.
