For the Ivory Tower people ridiculing the secession petitions:

Is there any line that the federal government can cross that would cause you to support secession?

Probably not. Any other Ivy Leaguers here to opine? I know we have a couple from Penn. Cornell's marginal, of course.

I think it's really funny that he needs to justify his position by asking this question.

Youve already answered no to this question. No further commentary is really needed.

Well everyone has a limit. I'm not for secession as of now, but let's say that the executive branch started imprisoning political dissenters; labeling them terrorist. Would you consider it then?

You can either blindly follow the herd off the cliff or you can join with those who realize the impending doom that is this country and its fragile freedoms at this time.

Sorry, but I'm not wasting my time contemplating hypotheticals of what MAY make me support secession. It's dumb. We're a very long way from me supporting secession. In reality, I'd tend more towards revolution than secession. "I'm taking my ball and going home. Hrrrrrumph!"

Those tend to be very bloody. I'd much rather have a peaceful secession.

Bama fan, all of this idiotic, delusional talk about secession confirms every occupant of ivory towers stereotype of an Alabamian.
