For the conspiracy folks: There is massive nationwide network issues right now

The major cellular services are experiencing outages impacting voice and text services. This appears to be coast to coast and growing by the minute.
The dark corners of the internet have said something like this could happen when major arrests start happening to prevent the spread of news until the arrests are done.

If you needed to immediately warn someone to leave their house, their work, etc. How would you contact them to warn them as fast as possible?
It wouldn't be done to stop the spread of news. It would be done to stop the criminals from getting a heads up.

In KC area, can't keep a VPN connection up or wireless call for more than a few minutes

Your right. If millions of Americans were about to be rounded up communication being cut could help in this process.

My Verizon service was out all day yesterday in n MS.. they got it back up today though.. glad I'm CC'ng today.
