Wake up. Progressive taxation is necessary to help lessen the inequality of society.
The same could be said for theft. Do you think it's OK to rob another so long as that victim is richer than you? Wouldn't that be "lessening the inequality of society"? Why is any different if you do it with the threat of shooting someone with a gun, or the government does it with the threat of jail?
The purpose of taxes is to fund the government. Blessing the robbery of another isn't a moral argument. Far from it. It's as immoral as robbery. Morals... are not means-tested.
The ideal form of taxation is one that minimizes that burden across all individuals. And one that spreads that burden equally.
You want equalty of income... go live in N.Korea.
