I would say "nice dodge", but it really wasn't.
Try again: Please explain, if you can, why it makes any sense in the world for the gov't (and by proxy, all of the taxpayers) to subsidize insurance for homes in high risk areas?
ETA: you know as well as I do that some areas are at a higher risk of various kinds of damage due to natural disasters. This is why insurance rates are different, or at least are supposed to be.
I don't really feel the need for earthquake insurance in Louisiana, just like People in CA probably don't have much insurance for hurricane related damage. Don't play dumb.
