Federal board rules medicare must cover transgender surgery

How the frick is this not an elective surgery.. Does this means grandmas can get dicks and grandpas can get the pair titties he's always desired

Thank God our countries priorities are in order.

Meanwhile Medicare denies payment for a cancer screening test that my mother needs to make sure her cancer hasn't returned even though her oncologist says she needs it. By the way she is still waiting to see if they will pay for her oncologist; doesn't look like they will.
My mom's case is not an isolated, rare thing.

Because Obama took 800 billion out of Medicare's budget millions, yeah, millions of Medicare patients now have to try to pay out of pocket for needed medically life saving care.

And I see this CRAP. Yeah it ticks me off that payment for needed, life saving care is denied at the same time this crap will be paid for.

Another thing that will be deadly for Medicare patients is directly due to an ACA Tax regulation which penalizes hospitals for readmitting Medicare patients once that hospital's quota is met.
And yeah, there are NO quotas set for Medicaid Readmits.
For some reason some people still confuse Medicare and Medicaid.
For those people; Most Medicare patients have actually paid into the system their entire working lives, and now the majority of them are being scr*wed over.
Medicaid patients the overwhelming majority have not paid a dime into supporting Medicaid, and there is nothing in the ACA Tax that sets quotas or limits or changes coverage for life saving care, and that budget, the Medicaid budget was NOT gutted to get the ACA Tax website running or pay for all the stupid ACA Tax commercials and so on.

Oh yeah, just great and typical of the "inmates running the asylum" this country has become.

Medicare will now pay for transgender surgery but will deny payment for needed cancer screenings for those who have had cancer. These denials are in spite of oncologists ordering these needed life saving tests.

I called my retired female friends and apologized for not covering their much needed cancer screenings, but did offer them solice in knowing that I would buy them a dick if they wanted one.
