FB idiocy of the day- a good one!

Dear Louisiana,
Y'all suck as people. I can't believe that crooked eye politician is going to win. He's running for governor in 2015. So guess what the guy you voted for won't be there to do any good.
How do I start the succession from the state proceedings? We obviously don't agree with the rest of the state.

This may be a generalization, but most of the meltdown over Landrieu losing has been from black people. There are literally thousands of twitter comments about losing education, assistance, etc.
I truly think a significant portion of the African American voting base goes into the polling place thinking that if the democratic doesn't win, they will have certain benefits stripped from them.
Same thing happens with republicans, too, (such as fear of gun confiscation), but tonight showed the former.
I am certain that Nunn got votes from folks with very similar fears. That David Perdue was going to take away their benefits.

Like the responses to this congratulatory tweet from Stacey Dash. They are nothing but pure racist vitriol and so hateful that it's shameful. I think she's been retweeting the really obscene stuff to shine a light on them now.

There are so many things that are wrong with that post that I really don't know where to begin. Sometimes it is just easier to cut ties with such an individual.

Regarding the black meltdown you're imagining...
As a black woman, neither I nor my friends melted about Senator Landrieu losing; we melted about our friends being too stupid to exercise their right to vote. Generally, educated people are friends with educated people, so one would assume that educated blacks would understand the history of this nation and would vote. However, a large portion of blacks stayed home and it's disgusting.
I also melted because at my white precinct in BR, they attempted to disenfranchise me because they assumed (correctly) that I supported the senator. When I tried to vote using my military ID I was told I couldnt because military ids don't have an address on them. It wasn't until hell was raised that they relented when their supervisor told the workers to allow me to vote. I did melt over that.
