Facebook to start labeling 'fake news'

Per CNN, they will use a newly formed group to fact check stories on Facebook and label as fake. This should be an interesting follow.

Hopefully they can do this in an unbiased way. Otherwise this will look very bad for Facebook. They were already accused of targeting people with news they wanted people to see during the election. Trying to influence behavior based on what shows up in your news feed is pretty messed up if you ask me.
That new game Watchdogs 2 is so relevant. The company that is supposed to be Facebook is using their platform to rig elections by targeting undecided voters with certain news stories.

This will start innocently enough but get out of hand. Watch all the Breitbart and RT stories suddenly get labeled "fake news."

Not a bad thing. You know how much stupid shite I see posted on FB and people actually believe it's real.. I'll be glad to see this gone.

What exactly constitutes "fake news", and who gets to decide whether news is "fake" or not?
Ahh. Ok. Thank God we have such people in this world willing to go above and beyond to make sure the news I'm getting is "fake" or not (based largely upon their subjective opinions, of course)
The mainstream media is pathetic. If nothing else, the election results have made it VERY clear that much of this country doesn't believe anything the mainstream media tells them. They have no credibility left, so their plan is to create credibility by discounting anything not reported by them as "fake". Basically they are telling the American people, "don't listen to anyone else. Just us. We're the only ones with "accurate news"
The curtain got completely pulled back on the "Wizard". It's just a bunch of bozos trying to tell us what how they want us to think.
