That's a surefire way to win over Alabama voters!
Go frick yourself, Doug. Moore can piss up a rope, too.

No shite.
In my travels, I've reveled in being able to tell people that I'm from Alabama in a slow, paced drawl. Why? Because people make the assumptions that Jones talks about. But instead of being a sheepish twat, I talk to folks to alleviate some preconceptions they might have.

He will vote constitutionally

I was waiting for this to make its way here. Shocked a democrat to his core, is ashamed of where he is from. I just had dinner at the country club in Asheville with several Alabama graduates that still own property down there, entitling them to a vote. They weren't too happy about this and spent the entirety of our dinner explaining the great state of Alabama. My wife drank a lot of wine as a result. So, thanks for the sex Doug. And GTFO of Alabama ASAP.

He might, and I'm using my defition of constitutionally very liberally. That said, he's going to win, so I feel absolutely no impetus to vote for him just to keep Jones out of office. The guy the LP is trying to get in for the nomination is a joke. So I'm just going to write-in Shorty Price again.

Well, he just guaranteed his loss.

Because of people like Roy Moore representing your state?
Posted on 10/20/17 at 8:23 pm to JuiceTerry
We've been governed and represented by buffoons before Moore was ever in politics. It still doesn't make me ashamed or hesitant to say where I'm from. Anyone who would easily make assumptions about me because of that are just as prejudiced as someone who makes easy assumptions about another based on ethnicity or religion.

Dems are so out of touch. They may never win an election again that isn't in a solid blue area.

I'm not being hackish. No one who wishes to represent a state should say that they may feel hesitancy about it, regardless. There's a different way to phrase that sentiment without it coming across quite as defeating.
