SLT Article on McMullin

quote:

Evan McMullin ran a long-shot — and ultimately failed — campaign last year to deny Donald Trump enough Electoral College votes to keep him from the presidency, but now the Utah native faces a hefty bill that will be challenging to pay off and could hamper efforts to enter the political arena again.

McMullin, who jumped into the presidential race a few months before Election Day, still owes some $670,000 to vendors who helped his campaign, including more than half a million dollars to a law firm.

How prophetic that the Deep State, neocon spook is knee deep in debt.

Never trust a gay Mormon ex CIA man who is as holier than thou as this douchebag is. The mental gymnastics one must have in order to pull that off likely mean that he could justify pretty much anything.

Guy has zero moral compass yet thinks he's the most noble and principled man on the planet.

Perhaps he should have bilked Dem donors out of money for a pointless recount instead.

I love how after Trump won he gave that victory speech in Wisconsin and taunted McMullin (without dignifying him by mentioning his actual name).

"We had this guy in Utah... and my wife... you know Melania, folks - is she the greatest? Anyway, Melania was saying to me 'What is he doing? Why is he running against you? Why is a Republican trying to throw the election to Hillary?' And folks... this guy... he came in last place in his own state. It was embarrassing. I actually felt bad for him to be so humiliated because I won Utah in this great landslide!".

I would kill to be in the room with McMullin when he heard that portion of the speech.

He was my least favorite person from this past election cycle.

A cycle that included Hillary, Bernie, Pochahantas and a litany of characters.

I saw him on that pathetic Bill Maher show the other night.......my God, what a waste if time. Yes a grade A douche, and the show was worse. Chelsea H was on as well.

I cracked one smile the whole time..I guess if someone says "dick" or "frick" enough times, it accidentally is funny at least once.

It was like watching a liberal funeral.

I am so depressed about Bill Maher. Seriously, that has been my favourite programme since his ABC days and he's introduced me to some amazing things and ideas and people. Bill Maher honestly helped change my life in regards to religion, marijuana, health, how you engage and exchange ideas of people with opposing beliefs, etc.

It's just crazy how much he hates Trump - can you believe that when Trump emerged as the GOP frontrunner I honestly believed that there was a chance Maher would side with him over Hillary? It's like Maher has this huge Trump blindspot where he loses all of his rational thought and becomes incapable of all the things that made me a huge fan of his.

I really miss having him as my favorite political guy. It's been like losing a friend - I'd compare it to if Drew Brees went to play for the Falcons in 2010 right after we won the Super Bowl.

To some of us it is crazy how Trump's fans can't see him as an emotionally unbalanced con man. Now that HRC is out of the picture we should all be together in wanting Trump out of office.

And who do 'we' replace him with? Pence?

I've been told he's a misogynist living in the 1800s and wants to send the gays to the gas chambers.

I never watch him, wife does and she feels like you. It was an hour of them all bleeding over each other and forcing themselves to make one liners like "back alley abortions now" and "what has Ivanka achieved". Etc etc etc.
Talking how trump is ruining healthcare because he doesn't understand it, yet say nothing about Obama and dems passing an unread bill. Point is, I used to think he was rational, even though more liberal than me....now he's just a lunatic about trump and republicans....it's unwatchable...even to a moderate dem like my wife.

And he tries to recover at all times by saying frick, dick, etc. It's just bad and unfortunate.

Jesus Christ man get a life. Talking like Maher is fricking Ghandi, if he actually changed your ideas on religion then I feel great pity for you
