"According to an internal memo leaked to the press, Brussles said it should act "within days" if new sanctions the US plans to impose on Russia prove to be damaging to Europe’s trade ties with Moscow. Retaliatory measures may include limiting US jurisdiction over EU companies. The memo, reported by the Financial Times and Politico, has emerged amid mounting opposition to a US bill seeking to hit Russia with a new round of sanctions. The bill, if signed into law by the U.S. President, would also give US lawmakers the power to veto any attempt by the president to lift the sanctions.

The document reportedly said European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker was particularly concerned the sanctions would neglect the interests of European companies. Juncker said Brussels “should stand ready to act within days” if sanctions on Russia are “adopted without EU concerns being taken into account,” according to the Financial Times."

Do we screw over Europe or not?

I wasn't sure whether or not to support this bill but now I am 100% for Russian sanctions while screwing Europe over.

The EU needs to make up its damn mind about Russia.

They are either the evil overlords or they aren't.

Also, who will the Democrats side with here? On one hand, they will try to attack Trump, but on the other hand, they will anger their utopia.

They should be added to the investigation.

I think it speaks more to our new place in the hierarchy of world powers than to collusion. I am so glad we have an experienced statesman at the helm to navigate these rough diplomatic waters.

So the US shouldn't operate in our own interest? Frick Europe and their rapefugee havens.

This is clear evidence of EU Russia collusion using the Trump evidentiary standard.

We should probe all Russia/EU "ties" and "back channels" as we leak everything we find to WaPo so they can make it sound like the end of the goddam world.

EU To Retaliate

I wonder how many Dems and globalist Reps support this move since it is essentially a move against President Trump?

So the EU is in favor of Russia invading Crimea, and involving themselves with dictators in other countries?

Man, EU finds new ways to disappoint me every day.

I'm not big supporter of the sanctions....but if it pisses the EU off, I may get on the bandwagon.

Mueller: We're gonna need a lot more Hillary Attorney's for this.
Schumer: They can all work out of my office!
DNC: We have room to house this investigation, they can even use our computer equipment!
CNN: Use our buildings, staff, equipment. We won't say a thing!!!

I'm personally not for further sanctions on Russia, BUT true to America first, we should not set our policy based on what's good for other countries. ALL US foreign policy should be America first, then let other countries do what they believe is best for them also.

How could that be? If anything, wouldn't European companies get more business from Russia if the U.S. prohibits U.S. companies from dealing with those Russian companies?
