i'm not shaming you either. watch what you watch and don't feel guilty...however, they have their fingers in your wallet.

Oh I know. I'm shameless anyway. Getting too old to GAF. I'll do what I want and bitch about the rest.

if you're dedicated you can cut the cord or get package without espn and just use a family members cable info to watch on the "watch espn" app

linda cohn has been at that network since i was a kid and sportscenter set was blue.
pretty harmless comments i would classify as the kind of PR espn needed to be doing after firing everyone.
how dey do her like dat...by the way as a fan of broadcasting, she is or was excellent.
and i would smash.

Yeah, I've always kinda had a thing for her myself.

espn's broadcasting talent pool in the early 90s was redonklis
now they can't even afford broadcasters for the sports they overpaid for...but jemele who couldn't draw a fricking cold let alone an audience is paid millions and made the center piece of their TELEVISION network even though she's a WRITER
hire writers as broadcasters...fricking morons

Here's the spin article trying to "prove" to you they don't have a double-standard.
LINK
Schilling was fired for repeatedly breaking company policy, not having a right-leaning opinion. Ok. We can go with that.
What about Hank Williams Jr.? He said while appearing as a guest on "Fox & Friends" that the president's (Obama) golf outing with House Speaker John Boehner at the height of the debt deal talks in June "would be like Hitler playing golf with [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu." He later called Obama and Vice President Joe Biden "the enemy."
The result...He was fired from doing the MNF intro song. But hey, ESPN hired him back this year! See, they don't have a left-leaning bias!!!
Maybe Hank was a repeat offender of company policy.
But poor Jemele. She's never been a violator of ESPN policy. So she gets the "one free get out of jail card here. Well, I guess if you forget about that time in 2008 when she said "rooting for the Celtics is like saying Hitler was a victim."
Frankly, I don't think that statement is all that bad. However, ESPN evidently did because they suspended her for it. So to say she gets a "pass" because this is only a first offense while Schilling was a "repeat offender" is just wrong. Hell, she probably shouldn't have been suspended for the Hitler quote in the first place. But be consistent ESPN.

But I do see a clear difference in one person's tasteless joke, then an uncalled-for political statement 9 years later... and another person's repeated public political statements over the course of a year or two.

Oh, so it's cool to say a bunch of ignorant, racist shite as long as you space it out. Gotcha.
