Just replace "liberal or "progressive" with "Stalinist" and everything they really stand for makes sense.
ETA, not the ideas per se of Stalinism but their tactics, or you could compare them to any other number of extreme political movements. I can assure you if these people had the power there would be real camps and reeducation centers.

Instead of twitter banning him, he should just listen to the people close to him and stop tweeting. What good does it do to surround yourself with "all the best people" if you're not going to listen to them.
