I have been thinking about this since yesterday. Even his adversaries have acknowledged that the POTUS has skill at dealing with the media and getting his message out. His history of using his fame to his benefit(before the Kardashians) plus experience working in the industry, has allowed Trump to hone his skills in the "entertainment" industry.

Now, we are witnessing the opening salvos in an open War-on-News with the POTUS. Fair or not, Trump ran as a republican and the media has treated him as one (you know what I mean). Instead of laying down & playing nice, the Trump campaign has always hit back, and it has served them well.

This War-on-News is something the POTUS has obviously planned for, and is well trained for. The media has enormous powers, but has weaknesses - they are a business. Besides the legislative work the administration has in front of it. Part of making Washington work for the people will include challenging the one-sided partisan media. And winning. Trump is one person who is perhaps better equipped for this any before.

He is. That's what has the media so incensed. They can't bully him like they can 99% of all republicans.
You can see the desperation from the progs on this board too on the low hanging fruit they parrot

He's not at war with the news and bragged on being on magazine covers.

The news itself is saying that his admin is more openly hostile to them than Nixon's. After one day.
And when you're on the cover, you own it. Control the narrative. Bad or good.
