Not one single republican wants a permanently democrat Florida and they will do everything they can to prevent that including going against their own fiscally conservative principles.

Yep. It's so sad. This two party system is unhinged.

No one has the guts to tell the truth any longer.

I just watched some PR actress/activist interviewed on TV.
Q: Is Donald Trump doing a good job?
A: No, I was so angry when I heard him. It reminded me when I was a child in school and people learned that I was from Puerto Rico. And they said 'Puerto Ricans are lazy and stupid.' I said "Puerto Ricans are US citizens." They were shocked.

I took this away from it:

a. She did not deny that Puerto Ricans are lazy and stupid.
b. Being a US citizen does not = you are not lazy and stupid.

Therefore, I don't think we need any more lazy, stupid people. Lord knows we got enough of them.

That is an odd take away. And completely irrelevant to the topic at hand anyways.

Trump barely won Florida by less than 113,000 votes against Clinton and that's pretty fricking razor thin. Just 100,000 Puerto Ricans moving to Florida would just crush that and leave absolultey no margin for error. You would have to run a perfect campaign there and hope to god the democrat is just shitty.

500,000 Puerto Ricans would make Florida permanently democrat.

The GOP is going to do everything they can to build Puerto Rico back up to discourage moving to the mainland.

You say we don't need more. They are already Americans, unless you are talking about leaving them for dead, your statement isn't even touching the subject of rebuilding. If I am wrong in this, please correct me so I can understand what you were going for.

Do you know how many New Yorkers and Jews constantly go down there? They'll find a way to rebuild it.

I've been to PR and have friends that have lived there. The residents cant sustain themselves. Why cant they sustain themselves, you ask? They can't b/c most of then are lazy and don't give a shite. They take a a holiday at least every other week.

The island is very cool, but the locals suck. Everywhere you go there is trash just thrown on the ground.

They don't care. Why should we?

It's way too nice of a place to do that. It has potential.

frick no. But 90% of what our government does with our money doesn't make any economic sense.

What does make economic sense is cashing in what I have on this earth and moving to PR and buying up land right now.

See ya, suckers!

Yeah it does. Unless you want four million Puerto Ricans moving here.

As long as they are paying the same taxes I'm paying for being here then there's no problem.

Sure, the common folks situation would improve immensely but what would happen to the ruling communists, we have to consider the needs of the few outweighing the needs of the many.

Uh yes we have to.

Puerto Rico is threatening a mass exodus to the mainland if nothing gets done and if that happens, we lose Florida forever to the democrats and they will be starting in the electoral college at 260 votes from there on out.

They're american citizens and there's nothing we can do to stop them from moving

Puerto Ricans would move to NYC, NJ, Philly and Boston before Florida
