I'm inclined to believe Assange to, but he hasn't named anyone as the source of the leaks. The conspiracy itself isn't necessarily driven by Assange.

He doesn't name ANY sources. That's what he does.

But he has gone as far as possible to hint that it was Seth Rich without actually saying thats who it was

HOW did the DNC get away with not allowing the FBI to examine their servers? They took the word of an outfit that worked for the DNC as to who did the hacking. WTF?

I bet they'd look all they wanted at any computer equipment that belonged to any of us.

They also let Hillary Clinton's lawyers decide what e mails were relevant and which ones were not. They also had access to materials that were surely classified confidential or higher without any clearance to do so. But, once again the EFF BEE EYE LET THEM get away with that. Do you think any of US would get a break like that?

Come on. That overgrown "Boy Scout " is a HACK . Pure and simple.

Right. I'm well aware. The conspiracy is driven by other factors. Like the leaks themselves. And internet sleuths trying very hard to piece a constellation of events into cogency.

It is perplexing... It is a disorder of some sort I truly cannot understand except that it is a form of pure self-destruction. They would follow them to the grave it seems calling everyone an "idiot" "fool", mocking them as the dirty fills the grave as they are buried alive by the same interests that are burying them.

If that isn't crazy then nothing is. They would argue for an enemy that gives two shites about their lives than join with those who would do anything and everything to protect it.

But, that is the nature of man.

Because its the easy way out. Just like in The Matrix. The blue pilled life was easier. Just go with the flow.

Same situation here. It's also rooted in snobbery. We have people who think they are so smart, so sophisticated, so intelligent, so free thinking, that they view any kind of viewpoint that goes contrarian to the mainstream thought or from official sources to be "crazy" and therefore "below them". Just like how snobs in the Northeast refuse to support conservatives because they think the GOP is the party of trailer trash in the south. Has nothing to do with their support of democrat/left policies, but not wanting to associate with "that kind"

Because the FBI is an arm of government that exists to protect people in high places, not bring justice.

He was the father of Jim Morrison, the lead singer of the rock band The Doors.[1][2][3]

Peace and love at the expense of the sins of the father...

Likely an odd coincident

I have family in the Northeast and I go visit them. My uncle was saying how he liked Trump's ideas but couldn't vote for him because he was a Republican and he doesn't vote for Republicans because he is not a trailer dwelling inbred.

The same kind of thinking applies when it comes to believing official government narratives. Some think that if you don't blindly accept it and follow it that you are some crazy basement dwelling doomsday tinfoiler. So you just go with the flow and call those who don't toe the line "crazy nutjobs" to virtue signal that you are not one of those crazy types.

If Assange knew Rich leaked it, we'd have seen evidence by now. Period. It would be his biggest story ever.

The op-ed is more reliable than those journalists whose IQ's have been shown to be lower than then the average.

Also, the article clearly says who the information is from..

That guy you wish were dead, Snowden.

If Snowden is wrong about the NSA's capabilities then WHY THE FREAK DO YOU WANT HIM DEAD? If he is wrong about everything you need him to be wrong about then we can't take anything he leaked to be "correct" and thus he should be neither made a hero or a villain as it is all bunk shite.

Yet, that isn't the case. Everyone in government wants him dead. So, this op-ed has relayed the obvious that it couldn't have been a hack, and there is no hack. If there was a hack they would know it and have shown it as they have the built in capabilities to vacuum all data. It was a leak. Podesta said it was a leak in his email.

Keep reaching. Or, you can realize that I and others aren't your enemy and only wish the best for all Americans. That the left/right and the Washington establishment has none of our interests in mind. Instead you would rather attack those who would lend you a dying hand if need while these people you defend wouldn't give two fricks.

Just the way you worded "molested" "raped" tells me a lot about the kind of person you are. Just something that strikes me in the gut as being very insensitive and crude.

It's still an OPINION, not proof.

And if you're referring to intelligence based on a 40 person executive functioning study, that didn't involve an executive functioning assessment (there are plenty), then that would be an incorrect conclusion.

Funny, they must have forgotten that quote.

Or this one..

"When once a republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil." — Thomas Jefferson

Yes, I mean this with all the respect, I mean it when I say, I agree 100%.

We have common ground.

I voted for Trump believing he was going to expose all the evil in Washington and possibly sacrifice his own name and brand for the sake of saving this nation.

I still hold out hope and I do like a lot of what he has done, but I am not happy with everything he has done whatsoever.

I will never be blindly following any leader. I won't agree with 100% of everything he does. He needs to drain the swamp as he insisted. I hate the term as it does not do justice to the sheer corruption and evil that exists there in Washington and reaches across this land and around the world as proxies for higher powers behind the scenes.

But, I do believe that Comey was a good start. Expose them all. They hate him. They can't stand him: Republican and Democrat alike.

I hate to use a religious figure as I am not religious whatsoever at all, but the analogy fits with my thoughts on our current state: Jesus supposedly sacrificed his life to expose the evil in Israel: all the frauds--in the temple the money changers; the fake and lying leaders in the synagogue leading them straight to hell; the sorry arse politicians, Sadducee, Pharisees, who robbed them of the most important freedom--salvation. He went to the cross because he was draining the f'ing swamp in my mind exposing them for what they were and who their father was. We don't have a leader with the balls to do the same.

We need a leader that is willing to sacrifice the same if need be. AS I said I am no religious man. I don't attend church and refuse to step foot in any religious house. But, stories resonate. And the reason so many flocked to the polls for Trump was because he seemed like the leader who was willing to do whatever it takes to bring us back from our inevitable fall that is coming.

If he doesn't do the things he promised I'll be the first to say so. I hated he backed the sorry AHCA bill. I also at first hated his dealings with the Saudi's but have since realized that it is genius. Sell them the weapons and let them fight the fight while we begin to pull out of the region once we are through with ISIS. Let them fight their own wars but still be allies.

Saudi monarchy is teetering and do not wish to end up like Gaddafi or Saddam. They will toe the line. In 4 years if I can't tell whether or not Trump is full of shite then that is on me and you can call me out all you wish with every insult and mockery you like.

Can I be on record in saying that I DGAF how the emails got made public.

That doesn't change the fact that the Dems rigged a primary and were trying to rig and election and it got exposed.

THIS is what the American public should be concerned about. Not if it was Putin, Assange, Guccifer, Seth, or the fairy fricking God Mother that got the emails from the DNC.

Focus on the CONTENT.

Why anyone continues to trust intelligence agencies these days baffles me.

The same agencies who sold us the Gulf of Tonkin Affair, WMDs in Iraq, Operation Mockingbird, amongst other things.

Yeah, real track record of honesty there.

The intelligence agencies are the 4th arm of the government these days, with the difference being they have no accountabiltiy so they basically run the show.

So the next time Trump refers to intelligence reports guiding his actions as CIC we can expect you to be here to question his actions? Where were you when he fired off the tomahawks based on intelligence reports?
