despite being there and posting on facebook that's why he was there and what he was going to do.
but white car guy represents ALL alt right/nazi/racist/sexist/facists in the country and we must launch investigations into all these groups IMMEDIATELY.
seems reasonable.

Yeah also that guy that tried to kill the republican congressman doesn't represent the left.

Don't forget that we shouldn't judge Muslims by the extremist few.

You forgot about the rabid leftists who shot Scalise being classified by the FBI as having no agenda and just picking shooting targets at random.

Don't forget the Baton Rouge police ambush. That guy went there specifically to get revenge for Alton Sterling.
Nothing to see here, folks.

I mean that guy was 100% associated with BLM. Just like the guys in Baton Rouge was.
The guy in Charlottesville was part of a radical group just as those two were.

Correct.
When a Bernie Bro killed some folks in Oregon a few weeks ago, he was a Right Wing Nationalist, until he was discovered to be a Bernie Bro, then he was mentally unstable.
The cat in AZ that shot Giffords and killed a Republican judge was a righty (even though he killed an R), until he wasn't, then he was mentally ill.
Then there's the guy who shot up the baseball field. He's mental too, especially after he made sure he was trying to kill Republicans first.
We could do this all day.

It's a valid critique, at least in part.
I imagine a lot of people on this board know people who have gone to BLM "rallies" or the like, but aren't professional organizers/violence inciting types.
BLM is a broad movement, somewhat like Occupy or Tea Party and it lacks any well defined boundaries.
I think the specific entities involved in Charlottesville, or at least some of them, are more akin to ANTIFA or worse.
But I do think BLM as a movement should be criticized for its rhetoric and its inability to keep the fringes of the "group" from engaging in violence/destruction.

Yes. People are hypocrites.
This can be illustrated in multiple ways for both sides.
Nobody that called for BLM to be labeled a terrorist organization can now call for nuance when it comes to these nationalists groups.
Either you want nuance, or you don't. Don't pick and choose. It makes you look retarded.

BLM immediately denounced both shooters, as did the white supremacists org that the killer was pictures with. What you have left are Killers who Obama denounced immediately and who Trump failed to mention (still).

and here i was thinking he didn't denounce BLM for inciting hatred and violence against cops.
i must have just overlooked that speech.
thanks for setting me straight.

You are finally getting it. Muslims should not be judged by the extreme actions of a few. The left should not be judged by the extreme actions of a few. Nor should the right.

Actually, it's worse than that. He represents everyone on the right side of the political spectrum

This is a well reasoned position. Hypocrites everywhere.
Only the Right, for the most part, has displayed an immense level of maturity and restraint in the face of Constitutional violations and violent uprisings displayed by the extreme left.
Reasonable left and right need to come together and disavow extremism on both sides.
