But I do agree without reporting cash on hand this is misleading. If that 7.5 mil includes cash them that's pretty low for a major political party organization.
If the article is leaving out cash on hand then it's fake news because they could have 100 million on hand and still be 3.3 million in debt. That's not broke, it's just carrying a debt rather than paying it off. Most private companies do this because credit utilization helps your credit rating

This. For example if you're an individual it increases your credit score if you have a card with a 10k limit and maintain 2-3k balance on it. Typically 30% utilization is ideal. You should utilize 20-30% of total available credit and never have your total debt go over 50% of total yearly income

The big money folks, like soros have being going their own way with their own political movements. I think soros donated like $30K to the dnc in 2017.
