Despite everything, Hillary as president would have been so much worse.

The Gorsuch appointment alone has saved this country. Hopefully he gets some more openings to appoint.

Had Hillary been president the Supreme Court and this country would be screwed for years.

Most of the noise is generated by Democrats that cannot accept the fact that they lost. But Trump will not resign and he will not be impeached so there is much more hysterical squealing to come. I will enjoy every bit of it.

Trump is behaving right in line with my expectations. Fortunately the US doesn't have a monarch, and as you noted the USSC seat is a win in my book.

Now we just need Thomas, Kennedy and RBG to retire and replace them all with young(er) textual blood. 4 new justices under 60 would be yoooooge!

Are you implying that Trump is bad?

He's not.

That really can't be stressed enough. I don't think the United States has ever dodged such a more huge bullet than Hillary Rotten Clinton.

Everything she ever touches turns to shite. Everything.

Clinton could have been president in 2004. All she had to do was vote in 2002 to NOT invade Iraq. That a quagmire would ensue was acknowledged even by Dick Cheney.

Cheney in 1994

Everything she touches turns to shite. Everything.

Agreed Supreme Court is key. He could get nothing done but Gorsuch is 100% a slam dunk

Au contraire. A Hillary presidency would have been relatively smooth and there would have been cooperation between Republicans and Democrats, and none of this fussing and fighting and constant impeachment talk. Any SCOTUS nominee she put up there would have oozed through the Senate like hot butter.

America missed a stellar opportunity to make things right in November 2016.

-Illegal border crossings wouldn't be at a decade low
-Stock market wouldn't have boomed in anticipation of deregulation and tax breaks
-People receiving unemployment wouldn't be at the lowest level since the 80s
-Wouldn't be seeing these large monthly gov budget surplus'

But the left would "feel" better

Nice speculating. The simple truth is we will never know. Just be happy with that rather than holding onto the belief that as bad as this clown show is, it could be worse. Why not focus on the problem

Tell us what would make John Pedesta an acceptable Secretary of State. That would be the caliber of appointment throughout her entire cabinet.

If hillary was president and was doing and saying the same things as trump, this board's furor for immediate impeachment and jail time would be incredible.

So Trump can be a bad president as long as he appoints good judges?
