How many of you will be celebrating Denim Day with the rest of your Armed Forces? My understanding is this is a DoD wide initiative.

Is this supposed to be some sort of endorsement for the stupid-arse practice of "bustin' a sag" ?

From what I understand, the practice of "busting a sag" (I had to look that up) would make you more prone to rape, but in a trial the onus would be on the perpetrator. While wearing tight fitting jeans would make rape difficult and thus presume the opposite.

In this case, I don't think it matters. Any denim will do-jeans, jackets, shoes, hats.

The navy could just bring back the dungaree uniform for the day, am I right.

I work for a DoD agency and we've not heard about this. But it turns out the 25th is a Friday, and we're allowed to wear jeans on Fridays.
