In the 2018 mid terms, they'll have to defend a lot of seats in states that Trump won in 2016.

Hopefully,they will be pushed out more. But this article is on the state levels. Not the US Senate/House.

The reversal of "fortune" since 2012 has been incredible. Oddly, the Republican Party did little to generate their new highs. The Democratic Party owns this mess almost entirely.
