I searched and did not see anyone posting this.

New Orleans Catholic (Dominican) school, father, daughter dance. One family decided to dress as Trump and a kneeling football players and the PC police came out. Appears WDSU dragged alumni out there to interview them in from of the school to fuel the fire.

"
In the midst of a national public debate on kneeling protests at NFL games, a New Orleans high school is now at the center of a related discussion.

This is after a St. Mary's Dominican High School student and her father showed up to a school dance wearing costumes mimicking the protests.

Pictures taken during the annual DHS Father Daughter Costume Dance Wednesday night surfaced online and are raising eyebrows.

"I was really shocked. That is not what I expect from Dominican. Usually they're very strict about this kind of thing and they don't like to cause a lot of fuss and don't want anyone to feel alienated or attacked and so this was uncalled for," said Dominican graduate Jailyn Heissen."

All it takes is one idiot to be offended to ruin any kind of fun. And there’s always going to be at least one.

True.

And we allow it to happen. This is why a relative few SJW's took over a whole political party.

Should read:
Someone did something somewhere that someone else didn't like and they whined about it on social media.

This is what everything is coming to.

Appears to be but why can't we say, I have had enough. This is humor and this PC crap needs to be put to bed. Is this a lost cause?

The alumnae they interviewed are children who have views that are inconsequential. What a hack job story. In fact, the costume is also mocking trump with the spray tan. Slanted BS news story. I guess satire is offensive now to idiots.

Yep I agree, I just wish there was a plan to flip the script.

If the left doesn't see this and realize the right is winning the culture war now; they are helpless.

At the end of the article there is some insinuation that it was actually done to make fun of Trump and that makes it ok

He said the father and daughter who dressed as Trump and the football player were not making fun of the recent protests, but were instead making fun of Trump and his recent comments related to the protests.

He said parents and students of all races were laughing at their skit, and he thinks the snapshots posted online don't give a complete picture of what was happening at the dance.
