The corporate tax rate should be zero. There is literally zero logical sense why it is anything other than zero. It is only more than zero for purely emotional reasons.

Who the frick said that? Why wouldn't there be these things without taxes? Of course we all want these things.

There are only two reasons why you would imply that these things are possible only because of state taxation:

1. You don't really understand how human beings behave
2. You are trying to create a false dichotomy on the issue of taxes/no taxes

Keeping more of the money you earned,

Vs.

Getting handed other people's money.

Not even in the same universe.

Get that, "all money belongs to the government mentality" out of your head.

With a corporate tax rate will 0, wealthier individuals and business owners would only use that to reclassify personal earnings as corporate income.

State an actual example please. I don't want to go down some hypothetical where you frame the entire issue within the context of 2 possible outcomes.

....which is the purpose of a shell company.

Shell companies wouldn't be called shell companies if this happened tho, they'd just be called companies.

I fully support shell companies and I fully support anyone who creates one to avoid paying income taxes. I don't think you understand the point that several of us are trying to make.

One plant is operating on a river, using the water from it in their process.

One day a plant opens up shop next door and begins discharging substances that inhibit the process of the downstream plant.

...or, in fact, diverts ALL of the water upstream of the original plant to use in their process, and don't discharge any back to the river, leaving none for use by downstream plants.

It's a trickle down thing. Cut taxes for corporations = working man gets mad and wants taxes cut = less money to run public services and improve infrastructure.

So you don't see a correlation between retained earnings and future profitability?
If a company invests profits into growth, those earnings are not taxed. Correct?
