Conservatives historically expand the government in record breaking fashion. Their platform is obvious bs to a critical thinker.
Why appoint someone to an office who holds that office in contempt? It should be a privilege to serve... Your job is not to make sure no one accomplishes anything because government "is evil".
So when faced with the reality of leading the government, conservatives inevitably must betray their constituancy in order to do their jobs. Anyone who elects someone on a platform of hating the government to run the government is a naive fool.

We've virtually eliminated a long list of deadly diseases mostly because of the federal government's funding of mass immunizations.
