It doesn't get any more simple than that.

The following places have strict... I mean STRICT gun laws.

Brazil
Mexico
England
France
Holland
Norway

All have had multiple assault weapon murders. Brazil and Mexico are off the charts obviously. England and France mass murders are well documented.

I agree but maybe they could at least bring the body count down from 500+

Gun control law is too little too late.

No one needs an automatic weapon to hunt, unless you are hunting humans.

No one needs a Ryder truck unless they plan on killing 86 people in Paris...

No one needs the 4th Amendment if they have nothing to hide.

Nobody needs the 5th Amendment if they didn't do the crime.

it is theoretically possible to legally own them, but for all intents and purposes, they are banned

uh... no... they are not.

they are extremely expensive to acquire, and require extensive background checks and other measures, but they are legal.

The hotel he was staying in was a gun free zone. Only an idiot would support gun laws.

Nah.

Gun Control talk is pointless.

As a country we have long since past the point where we can do anything but bury the dead in the latest largest mass murder in US history.

Because we all know there is some a-hole out there looking to top last night's total.

We will all talk about how terrible this was for a week or two.

Then the next new shiny topic will pop up and we will forget about it and move on...just like Orlando, Colorado, Sandy Hook, Va Tech...etc etc etc.

No law would prevent gun violence.

The goal is to reduce it.

That is like saying there shouldn't be drunk driving laws because "some people will always drive drunk". Well, yeah, but less will if there is a law against that.
