The whole hearing was a waste of time. They pretty much just gave Comey an open forum to cry and moan about why he thought he was fired. Now, I can see why Trump fired this pitiful excuse of a man.

Sure he is.
His zeal to protect the agency and appear as impartial as possible almost certainly has him think "what went wrong?".
The problem is that his bungling likely altered the election, and nearly caused the sitting POTUS to be impeached.

I can't get over him leaking his memo to the friend, and having him go to the press, for this nothing burger...,This is the head of the FBI!!! I think the Nation is better for his firing, no matter what side you are on.

Clearly he is a troll and a "showboat" just like Trump said he was. This country is much better off for not having him in control of the FBI.

This board often makes the argument that Trump should be able to publicly defend himself. Is that same privilege not extended to Comey? Comey feels he has been attacked by the Trump administration, and this gave him an avenue to defend himself from those attacks.
