Comey was fired because he refused to say, Trump wasn't under investigation publicly

Which he wasn't...
Trump was told 3 times in private he wasn't under investigation so why not say it public? The reason was Comey did this to try and keep his job. No way Trump would fire him if the public believes he might be under investigation (Comey thinking)

So Trump is a liar? Because the official reason was over the handling of the Clinton emails?

Every time he testified he wouldn't answer the question and this happened multiple times. Trump was going nuts!

Comey said so in his statement. If he did publicly state it, he would have had to also publicly state Trump was under investigation if their investigation lead to that. It does sound like Comey was trying to protect Trump a little there, but we can question whether that was genuine or not.

Comey was and should have been fired for gross incompetence. He investigated the Russia collusion for almost a year, yet could find nothing, and allowed through careful wording, obstruction of government. Furthermore, he made himself investigator, judge, and jury on Clinton's email scandal. He should have been fired long ago.

The point is going over your head. A President needs no reason at all to fire anybody, whether you like it or not. Comey was fired because he was an imbecile the way he handled the HRC investigation and he refused to clear Trump of something Trump is tried for in the MSM every second of the day. The President can fire him because they don't like the way their hair looks. Comey was too political and is a nutjob that wants a name for himself hiding behind drapes. He obviously was Obama's man so it is normal for him to get fired.

The local DC bars are opening early and offering FBI burgers and meals and Russian vodka happy hours.
Now that the memo has been leaked the popcorn will be in if Comey is questioned about Obama/Lynch/Clinton spying and unmasking and the cover up of HRC's classified emails and bathroom server.
If no one asks Comey how he let Crowdstrike investigate and let all of HRC's team use the same lawyers, or why Nunes was shut down when we know they all saw Obama using the PDB at least-to spy on Trump--- then they are all hiding and BSing.
