They painted her good causes in a good light outside of nanny stating kids school lunches. They showed her being unfairly treated as some angry black woman. They presented her as a middle class girl that made her way through an Ivey League college as a role model. This I can agree with -and tried to watch it-seeing both sides of the political divide.

But they showed her statement of her being proud of the USA for the first time. And even on this CNN documentary of her; it was shown as a huge gaffe-a mic drop, wtf. They pulled her from the front line campaign.

What the progressive democratic left are missing and will never ever get. Is how insulting that statement was to many Americans deep inside. She was calling us racists and it was insulting to many who have lead our nation through proud moments beyond racial inequity.

Not once did she address this and apologize or explain what she meant. We were all secretly hoping our FLOTUS was not a race-baiting Jesse Jackson.

She got a pass. They pulled her from the campaign in fear. Only to place her very bluntly later again to be very political. Yet, Trump is called to apologize and make statements to bring us together.

Did the interview any US school children and ask what they thought of her stellar lunch program?

Seriously, what exactly did she champion? Her lunch program was an abysmal failure. #bringbackourgirls are still missing.

What exactly did she accomplish as FLOTUS? Anyone? ATL, a want, Bayou? I'll hang up and listen.

ETA: they made it clear AGAIN. That there is no way ever, ever, she is running for political office. But CNN crowned her a saintly political figure last night Bookmark this thread-she will run. They will say that she is being called and needed and she will say okay.(HRC will be livid)

Why not? She is prettier and more intelligent than Maxine Waters.

CNN said she was a role model for all young girls and most especially Van Jones' daughters because Van said, FLOTUS said to DO YOUR HOMEWORK-- and don't worry about boys. They showed MO saying if she were taken by the first boy that came along; and didn't concentrate on her degrees. That she would not be married to the POTUS.

Well, there was that whole "I hate whitey" paper she wrote in college and if I remember right, wasn't she disbarred?

I think the only consensus you will get on this is that she made some "memorable" political speeches. Memorable for a variety of reasons depending upon the audience/observer.

I think her "America Proud" speech clearly revealed that she has a strong dislike (could say hatred given tone) for a large segment of our white population as she thinks we are a bunch of 19th century racists.

The Obamas had a real opportunity and they sacrificed it in the name of their politics. Some will always idolize his presidency, but a large number of people know that it was a period of great divide as well; the reason for that divide lays as much, if not more, at the feet of BHO and Michelle as it does the 19th century racists.

What I've been saying since day one of his administration. He squandered a great opportunity to further his progressive agenda.

My beef with The Obamas in general is a consistent over reach of power. The Pres or First Lady should not be able to tell ea state what to serve for lunch. Nor should they force open borders, gov't run healthcare, political correctness, huge deficits, giant land grabs, down our throats. I hope Trump allows the States A lot more independence.

She gave up her law license to avoid being prosecuted for insurance fraud.

Stop with those facts, Zach. BamaAtl will be here to tell us she just let her law license lapse so she could be the nanny food FLOTUS that never had to apologize for her racist comments.

I hope she does run. It's easy to google which gender/race combination American's like the least. She would ensure a Trump second term.

However, I doubt she has the stomach for it. Also, she would be pushing Booker and Harris to the back just as the Democrats are trying to establish a young core of candidates.

She would do what Hillary did this year: Lose, while hurting your upcoming class of candidates.

It was a "thesis". You should read it. It is hilarious. Not in the sense that it is funny, just in the sense that an Ivy League school would allow that to be considered a thesis. When I was in grad school, had I turned something like that in for a mid-term it would have gotten a C or D at best.

No. She gave it up to avoid something else. Just forgot what.

Don't think it was tied to the faux job she had where she made over six figures for doing nothing.

The things these people get away with amazes me.
