Wrong. Link me where CNN reports that Trump tower was wiretapped.
It may end up that Manafort's residence there was under surveillance, but CNN hasn't reported that to be the case.

Maybe the president should have thought twice before bringing a person of interest in a major criminal probe into his campaign organization. Maybe he should rethink a lot of his associations. Seems he has a knack for hiring liabilities.

Hypothetical..it's the middle of the night and Manafort can't sleep. He notices someone messing with his door lock and arms himself, meanwhile his wife is calling 911.
The Keystone Kops come crashing inside and the waiting Manafort pumps several 12 gauge rounds into the horde, taking out two or three of them.
They finally ID themselves and Manafort drops his weapon, the local cops show up and there's one hell of a mess to sort out. I honestly don't think they could charge the homeowner with a damn thing and make it stick. They kind of asked for it.
If any one of you were faced with this situation, what would you do? I have to admit I would open up on them.
