Prosecutors don't indict. They attempt to bring indictments.

They can choose to use a grand jury but they don't always. Sometimes they file it directly with the court to rule.

so the grand jury indicts or the judge indicts. not the prosecutor

But a prosecutor saying "we plan to indict you" doesn't seem like a strange statement.

Yes, because that's how our legal system actually works. Grand juries will indict a ham sandwich, etc. You think you're not talking to a cynic?

Are there really people out there that didn't know this was happening? This is exact why all this Russian stuff is bullshite. The NSA would have tape. If they will actively intervene into a terror plot, why wouldn't they intervene into a foreign plot to subvert our election process? fricking people are so stupid.

Surely you don't believe this is any sort of evidence of collusion other than Obama and intelligence officials colluding to bring down Trump

He was first under surveillance a year before Trump announced his presidency. This does not make Trump's stupid claims of about a "tapp" on his lines any less ridiculous.

Honestly, this story is not a big deal either way. It's been clear since forever that Mueller had Manafort dead to rights.

So trump was right or trump was right?

Just trying to place whether trump was right or if he was right.

Can you guys write to Trump about making some serious changes to the PATRIOT Act?

But also, do you really want Manafort's transcripts with the Russians to be released?

Eek. Rock and a hard place.

It started in 2014 long before he was the campaign manager for Trump. This is just another example of terrible vetting by the Trump campaign and admin.

Trump was told by the Obama admin not to hire Flynn and they did what they wanted. It seems like instead of vetting Trump and his admin/campaign are going with their gut and it has hurt them.
