You need to tune in and watch this shite. Unbelievable. The Dems - mainly Feinstein and Leahy - are vicariously punishing Trump by projecting the Yates flap onto Sessions. Do you see the corkscrew reasoning of these people? Do you need any more proof that they're all whack jobs? I'm done with the whole lot. They are beyond reason.

I'm sure ALL the dems on the committee will appose Sessions. This will be purely along party lines.

Pretty easy to see the connection they're trying to make. Sessions challenged Yates in her hearing to remain independent from the White House, and there are concerns over Sessions being able to maintain that same independence.

I'm not watching, just following on Twitter.

I don't think so. I've seen children throw temper tantrums in the supermarket before, I don't need to see it again, it just empowers them.

It's all stagecraft. You're currently watching something akin to wrasslin and are convinced what you are seeing is real. Swap the senate floor for a squared circle and the cheap suits for tights and there's no difference. The Dems are the heels.

Right about that however Yates was not independent when Obama was in office and agrued several of his EOs were valid even though he had the worst record of any Pres in Supreme Court W-L. Yates statement was based on political beliefs and not the Law.

I have no idea. I admittedly had no idea who Yates was until yesterday.

Remind me, isn't Leahy the one that Cheney cursed out?

Seems deserving of it if not.

I really like Sessions for the AG but could you imagine the fireworks if Gowdy was going through theses hearings?
